Residential (Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer or Cilex) - For our Brackley and Northampton offices

We are seeking one experienced conveyancer based in our Brackley office and another for our Northampton office. This role would suit a paralegal, conveyancer or solicitor wishing to continue in their skilled professional while focusing on the technical aspects of conveyancing.

You'll be joining a team of 5 working for the lead residential manager in either office and supported by our great teams.

Skills & Experience required:

   3+ years checking contracts;
   Freehold;
   Leasehold;
   New build;
   Help-to-buy;
   Shared Ownership.

Home Visit Representative (Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer or Cilex) - UK Home Working with Travel.

A unique opportunity to join our expanding Equity Release Department is now available. We are seeking legally qualified people to join Gilroy Steel as home visit representatives. The role is offered on a full or part basis.

A home visit representative primarily supports clients who need or wish to be seen in their own home. Our scheduling team will ensure you have everything you need. Full training is provided and no prior knowledge of equity release is required.

Your experience in conducting face-to-face client meetings is a great advantage ensuring a positive impression.

This role would suit someone who does not want the pressure of month end deadlines, a caseload or fee earning role. Just visit the client, review the prepared documents, witness and conclude the meeting.

The successful candidate will be joining a hardworking, fun and friendly team who are committed to exceeding expectations.

Salary:
Dependent on experience.

Home/office based, with travel.

Office Junior / Apprentice - Brackley Office (2 openings)

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a full apprenticeship gaining NVQ levels 3 and higher in business administration. This is permanent role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with college day release and an apprentice starting salary is £225 per week automatically increasing after 1 year.
Permanent.

The role offers full training in all aspects required to successfully progress in an office environment. There is free on-stie parking, company pension, sick pay, and schemes to support cycle and childcare.

Key duties include:

Filing;

Scanning and photocopying;

Stationary and stocking;

Greeting clients and assisting with calls;

Keeping work place tidy;

Collecting, sending, scanning and distributing post;

Opening files;

I.D. checks (and dealing with Client Care Packs when received back from the clients).

Further duties may include (for which training will be given):

Agents particulars/sales memos – requesting draft contracts etc.;

Requesting redemption statements;

Sending redemption statements to clients;

Chasing for completion dates;

Calling clients, estate agents and solicitors;

Sending packs out to lenders solicitors;

Witnessing signatures on documents when required;

Any other work within your capabilities and career aspirations
