Meet the Team
Tony Gilroy Tony Gilroy is the partner running the Brackley office of Gilroy Steel. He was formerly a partner in Barnes & Campling and then Barnes Campling Gilroy. Tony qualified as a solicitor in 1974 and was a partner in the London firm of Zackon & Gilroy before moving to Brackley in 1993. Tony specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, wills and probate. Tony is married with three daughters and is a keen Fulham supporter and Jazz & Blues enthusiast. |
Kelly-Jayne Steel Kelly is a partner running the Northampton office of Gilroy Steel. Having previously worked for the former company Barnes & Campling in Brackley (now Gilroy Steel) Kelly returned to the firm forming Gilroy Steel Solicitors and opening the Northampton office in March 2007 and is now the managing partner of the Northampton office. Kelly-Jayne Steel has worked in the residential property sector for eleven years working for several top regional law firms specialising in all conveyancing matters, equity release schemes and wills. Kelly enjoys going to the gym, keeping fit and socialising, she has excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour! |
Claire Burgess Having qualified as a solicitor in January 2009, Claire joined Gilroy Steel in August 2010 to manage the Buckingham office. She specialises in residential conveyancing and wills and probate. Claire is a keen lacrosse and netball player. She is club secretary for High Wycombe Rotaract club, a group for young people who organise various fundraisers in the local area. But most importantly, Claire is an avid Newcastle United football fan! |
Hazel Ayres Hazel began her legal secretarial career with Barnes & Campling in 1980 and has continued her employment through the changes in the structure of the firm through to Gilroy Steel. As a long established member of the firm she has an approachable manner and is an efficient and reliable part of the team, who fully understands the need to deal with matters in as timely and stress free manner as possible. Away from the office she enjoys the theatre, gardening and socialising with friends |
Laura Knott Laura joined the firm in 1998 and is Tony's secretary. She has gained a lot of knowledge and experience in administration and conveyancing matters whilst at the firm and is friendly, hard working and tries to assist clients whenever possible. Laura enjoys spending time relaxing with her family and friends. |
Suzette Beetge Suzette relocated from South Africa in 2000 and joined the firm shortly after. Suzette is a hard working, friendly and enthusiastic member of the team. To relax Suzette enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves entertaining (especially the cooking part of it). |
Tracey Steventon Tracey offers support and assistance with the day to day running of the Buckingham office. She has a great deal of knowledge and experience in administration, customer services, management and residential property. She is a hard-working, friendly and enthusiastic person who always strives to do her best. Outside of work Tracey is part of the local pre-school playgroup committee and works hard to raise money and manage the setting. She loves children, loves to socialise and plays pool in the current Buckingham Pool League. |
Leigh-Anne Thorpe Having only recently joined the team, Leigh-Anne offers support and assistance with the day to day running of the Northampton office. She has a great deal of knowledge and legal experience within residential property sector. She is a hard-working, friendly and enthusiastic person who always strives to do her best. |
